a full day.

3 hours of sleep, tons of coffee, teaching 8th graders the finer points of dj'ing and murdering the crowd at tonight's gig sums up my day.

i got up this morning to g telling me that he would not be able to teach since he was sick. so the daunting task of teaching the class alone was mine. it was not so bad. the first one was kinda rough, but the other two went by smoothly since i had help with the demonstrations w/ the other dj's that were there. it was fun.

yes, i was inspired. it was incredible to have such an impression on the kids. it was nice to hang out with people that i only deal with at night or at bars. to have lunch. to shoot baskets in the gym. to laugh at all the same things. i have a much greater respect for them...

it's amazing that it's been a year since the last conference. it seems like yesterday...

a long nap and hustling to my gig this evening completes my day. i had a good time spinning tonight, maybe it has something to do with teaching earlier. who knows...

inspiration is good.
