you betta axe somebody.

this cat has been tired the past few days. i totally passed up a geek session with scroggin at the coffeehouse tonight. i crashed as soon as i got home. shizzle. talking tech is always fun with him, you know? i don't feel like a total dork knowing all that ish when we're chillin'. at least i'm not the only one...

anyway, i have had trouble sleeping lately and when i do sleep, i sleep forever. i think i know why, but we won't get into that. for real...

the promotional push is on for the 80's party next week. i have people working on press and i have employed an army of kids to bomb the town with flyers. all my peoples are telling me that i have no reason to flyer, that the party promotes itself. WHATEVER. you never know, you can't let people sleep...ALSO there are 3000 flyers sitting in front me. i'd hate to let them go to waste. THEY ARE SO DOPE.

i almost forgot that a car company paid for those flyers. aw thit! gettin' that sponsorship scrilla. cha-ching...

ok. somebody stop me. i have listened to that alexander robotnik joint as least 50 times today. i can't help it, the track is SOOOO HOT. it's definitely the quintessential 80's dance track.

it appears that dj dangermouse is getting his shine on with the release of the "the grey album", a project that fuses jay-z's "black album" vocals with the beats from the beatles "white album". this remix joint sounds interesting. we'll see how long it stays on the shelves, 'cos i smell a lawsuit coming...

does michael jackson still own the rights to the beatles catalog? i think so...

i'll probably catch heat for this but, i am not feeling air's new album walkie talkie. i have had the advance for a couple weeks or so and i have to say i'm still not diggin' it. i'll give it a few more spins...

i also copped an advance of stereolab's new joint margerine eclipse. i'll give you the dirt as soon as i listen to it.

alright. try to catch me at one of my gigs tomorrow night. if i get shit straightened out, i will either be spinning at the snoop dogg show or at my super-glam weekly at olso. hopefully i can get someone to cover for me. damn, i'm always double booking myself...

here's a parting shot. a picture from rock the casbah 3, with my man dave rockin' the scruff.

the party has come a long way from three years ago.

gotta blaze.

peace.
