Plug & Play.

I've decided to put out a monthly series of mixes called PLUG & PLAY. It's basically unplanned, on the fly and done in one take. Last Friday I pressed record and went for it. So you get all the randomness, slight imperfections and realness without the post production tinkering, just like the days when we were all recording with cassette players. FUN!

The first installment contains some grown & sexy beats, kiddie raps, 80's tracks, house & more.

ENJOY.

Images and Videos from Lollapalooza 2009.

One word: AMAZING.

We went bigger at Perry's Stage this year and the crowd was bigger as well. From beginning to end, the place was a madhouse. Even with the rain on Friday, it did not stop the kids from having fun. Again, I worked my ass off and at the end of each day, I walked back to the hotel with an enormous sense of accomplishment. You'll see in the videos below how big it was this year. It was unreal...

It was a pleasure running the stage and I think that we have formed a great team of production folks to make this part of the festival bigger and better every year. It's just too cool!

Sorry about the lack of pictures. My point & shoot decided not to work on the first day of the festival. BUMMER.

There are a few pics I took with my phone. You can see them here.

I am so thankful for this experience and looking forward to next year!

Enjoy.

seattle.

I got booked in Seattle and I turned it into a small vacation. Spent most of my booking money on the amazing food up there and linked up with some great people. One of the highlights was going to the Manik warehouse and copped some really cool gear and decks.

Speaking decks, I scored the boards with Charles Peterson's work. Manik used his shots of the Seattle grunge scene for their shirts and decks. Funny thing, his photography was all over the hotel we stayed at.

Overall it was a good trip. Now I am nursing a cold and grinding it out from my office 'til I feel better.

Word to Foucolorzack and Sean C!

More shots of the trip are on the Flickr. Click here

a comedy break.

Tony Roberts is my favorite comedian at the moment. After seeing him on Def Comedy Jam last season, he has me looking out. His made up rap songs are too funny...

My dude Klassen whipped up this video of the Obama Inauguration party I threw last month. This is pretty much the only documentation of the event. It went off, considering the small amount of time I had to organize it...

Even though it's not Valentine's, Cosmo's mix is crucial. Click here

Lastly, I have Rock the Casbah this weekend. Aubrey is flying down from NYC to dance with Beth as the Boom Chica Boom Girls & it's due time to get a fun dance party going.
